How to delete a photo?

According to the agreement with the project participants, self-deletion of uploaded photos is not possible, except for the photos in the section "Unidentified plants and lichens". However, members can request and recommend the deletion of photos (including their own) by rating them negatively.

How do I request the removal of a photo?

  1. Open the page with the full size photo you'd like to delete.
  2. Click
    • on "Delete photo" button, located to the left of the image
      • or
    • on "Image/Rate image..." menu on the right pane of the page.
  3. In the dialog that opens, check the option "I don`t like this photo" and describe the reason to remove photo.

After a negative rating is given, the request to remove the photo will be considered by the site moderators.

How can I delete a photo in "Unidentified specimens"?

On the page "Unidentified specimens" ("Unidentified plants and lichens"):

  1. Click on the preview of photo which to be deleted, or on ("pencil") button to left of preview;
  2. Select "Delete image" item in opened menu.
